Seongham Muhammadeu (성함 무함마드), “The Name of Muhammad”, is a Korean nasheed about the blessed name of the Prophet ﷺ and how dear it is to a believer. The poem was written by aspiring imam and nasheed artist Anwaar Raza when he was just 14 years old. It is based on the contemporary Urdu naat “Nām-e Muḥammad”.

The comfort of the eyes – the name Muhammad,
the light of the heart – the name Muhammad.

제일 좋은건 성함 무함마드

Though there are many names indeed,
the best of all is the name Muhammad.
