– verse 3 –
مُحَمَّدٌ تاجُ رُسْلٍ اللهِ قاطِبَةً
مُحَمَّدٌ صَادِقُ الْأٌَقْوَالِ وَالْكَلِمِ
Muḥammadun taaju ruslillaahi qaaṭibatan
Muḥammadun ṣaadiqul–aqwaali wal–kalimi
Muḥammad – crowning glory of God’s messengers,
Muḥammad – truthful in speech and word.
– verse 4 –
مُحَمَّدٌ ثَابِتُ الْمِيْثَاقِ حَافِظُهُ
مُحَمَّدٌ طَيِّبُ الْأَخْلَاقِ وَالشِّيَمِ
Muḥammadun thaabitul–meethaaqi ḥaafiẓuhu
Muḥammadun ṭayyibul–akhlaaqi wash–shiyami
Muḥammad – who upheld and safeguarded the covenant,
Muḥammad – beautiful in character and appearance.
– verse 5 –
مُحَمَّدٌ رُوِيَتْ بِالنُّورِ طِينَتُهُ
مُحَمَّدٌ لَمْ يَزَلْ نُوراً مِنَ القِدَمِ
Muḥammadun ruwiyat bin–noori ṭeenatuhu
Muḥammadun lam yazal nooran minal–qadami
Muḥammad – his very being infused with light,
Muḥammad – a continuous light since the beginning of time.
– verse 6 –
مُحَمَّدٌ حَاكِمٌ بِالْعَدْلِ ذُو شَرَفٍ
مُحَمَّدٌ مَعْدِنُ الْإِنْعَامِ وَالْحِكَمِ
Muḥammadun ḥaakimun bil–‘adli dhoo sharafin
Muḥammadun ma‘dinul–in‘aami wal–ḥikami
Muḥammad – who judged with justice, the most noble,
Muḥammad – the source of blessings and wisdom.
– verse 7 –
مُحَمَّدٌ خَيْرُ خَلْقِ اللهِ مِنْ مُضَرٍ
مُحَمَّدٌ خَيْرُ رُسْلِ اللهِ كُلِّهِمِ
Muḥammadun khayru khalqillaahi min Muḍarin
Muḥammadun khayru ruslillaahi kullihimi
Muḥammad – the best of God’s creation, from the tribe of Muḍar.
Muḥammad – the best of all God’s messengers.
– verse 8 –
مُحَمَّدٌ دِينُهُ حَقٌّ نَدِينُ بِهِ
مُحَمَّدٌ مُجْمِلًا حَقًّا عَلَى عَلَمِ
Muḥammadun deenuhu ḥaqqun nadeenu bihi
Muḥammadun mujmilan ḥaqqan ‘alaa ‘alami
Muḥammad – his way is the truth, we live by it.
Muḥammad – true standard of perfection.
– verse 9 –
مُحَمَّدٌ ذِكْرُهُ رَوْحٌ لِأَنْفُسِنَا
مُحَمَّدٌ شُكْرُهُ فَرْضٌ عَلَى الْأُمَمِ
Muḥammadun dhikruhu rawḥun li-anfusinaa
Muḥammadun shukruhu farḍun ‘alal–umami
Muḥammad – remembering him brings peace to our souls,
Muḥammad – every people owes gratitude to him.
– verse 10 –
مُحَمَّدٌ زِينَةُ الدُّنْيَا وبَهْجَتُهَا
مُحَمَّدٌ كَاشِفُ الْغُمَّاتِ وَالظُّلَمِ
Muḥammadun zeenatud–dunyaa wa-bahjatuhaa
Muḥammadun kaashiful–ghammaati waẓ-ẓulami
Muḥammad – beauty and splendour of this world,
Muḥammad – dispeller of sorrows and darkness.
– verse 11 –
مُحَمَّدٌ سَيِّدٌ طَابَتْ مَنَاقِبُهُ
مُحَمَّدٌ صَاغَهُ الرَّحْمٰنُ بِالنِّعَمِ
Muḥammadun sayyidun ṭaabat manaaqibuhu
Muḥammadun ṣaaghahur–Raḥmaanu bin–ni‘ami
Muḥammad – the master, whose every quality is beautiful,
Muḥammad – engulfed by the Merciful in blessings.
– verse 12 –
مُحَمَّدٌ صَفْوَةُ البَارِي وخِيرَتُهُ
مُحَمَّدٌ طَاهِرٌ مِنْ سَاىِٔرِ التُّهَمِ
Muḥammadun ṣafwatul–Baaree wa-kheeratuhu
Muḥammadun ṭaahirun min saa’irit–tuhami
Muḥammad – God’s purest chosen one,
Muḥammad – free from every accusation.
– verse 13 –
مُحَمَّدٌ ضَاحِكٌ لِلضَّيْفِ مُكْرِمُهُ
مُحَمَّدٌ جَارُهُ وَاللهِ لَمْ يُضَمِ
Muḥammadun ḍaaḥikun liḍ–ḍayfi mukrimuhu
Muḥammadun jaaruhu wallaahi lam yuḍami
Muḥammad – jovial and hospitable host, honouring his guests,
Muḥammad – whose neighbour, by God, was never disappointed.
– verse 14 –
مُحَمَّدٌ طابَتِ الدُّنْيَا بِبِعْثَتِهِ
مُحَمَّدٌ جَاءَ بِالْآيَاتِ وَالْحِكَمِ
Muḥammadun ṭaabatid–dunyaa bi-bi‘thatihi
Muḥammadun jaa’a bil–aayaati wal–ḥikami
Muḥammad – the world was made fragrant by his arrival.
Muḥammad – he came with verses of guidance and words of wisdom.
– verse 15 –
مُحَمَّدٌ يَوْمَ بَعْثِ النَّاسِ شَافِعُنَا
مُحَمَّدٌ نُورُهُ الْهَادِي مِنَ الظُّلَمِ
Muḥammadun yawma ba‘thin–naasi shaafi‘unaa
Muḥammadun nooruhul–haadee minaẓ-ẓulami
Muḥammad – our intercessor on the Day when people are resurrected.
Muḥammad – his light guides one out of darkness.
– verse 16 –
مُحَمَّدٌ قَاىِٔمٌ لِلّٰهِ ذُو هِمَمٍ
مُحَمَّدٌ خَاتِمٌ لِلرُّسْلِ كُلِّهِمِ
Muḥammadun qaa’imun lillaahi dhoo himamin
Muḥammadun khaatimun lir–rusli kullihimi
Muḥammad – who stood, unwavering, for God’s cause,
Muḥammad – seal of all the messengers.
